Job Opportunity with Kirby's Pools
Kirby's Pools is looking to hire a new pool maintenance technician to add to our team!
We are an established, but growing company, based in Glendale, California.
We need energetic, diligent, hardworking, problem-solving individuals, able to manage time and tasks on their own.
We would like someone who is interested in long term employment. There are plenty of opportunities to earn extra money on top of your base pay! (Cleaning filters, salt cells, helping with various other projects, etc.)
Availability would need to be Monday-Friday.
You MUST have a reliable open bed pick-up truck!
No car, van, or SUV; THEY WILL NOT WORK!
Pool service experience is not necessary !!!
If you make a good fit with our team... We can train you!
This is a great opportunity to work outdoors with a growing company. Plenty of opportunities to make more money.
Compensation: $10-12 Per Pool Cleaning Stop (20 to $25 per hr)
Employment type: Independent contractor. Part-time to full-time (25-50 pools on a weekly route)
Service area includes: Glendale, Burbank, Shadow Hills, LaCrescenta, Pasadena, Los Feliz, and near by areas.
Requirements:

Must have your own truck with insurance and a valid CA license . This job requires safe driving habits.

The ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs. (chemicals, various equipment)

Good communication skills. You will need to be friendly and properly communicate with your customers. You must speak, read, and write English fluently.

Listen and take directions. You will need to learn and comprehend pool chemistry and equipment. You will also be required to obtain a Pool Technician License. I can assist you in getting the license.

Self-motivated. After you are trained you will be on your own for the weekly maintenance of the pools on your route.

Must have Smart phone with headphones and be able to download pool service app.
